The Crowning Place of Scottish Kings and home of the Stone of Scone, near Perth, with the palace, gardens and grounds to explore. Open daily 10am-5.30pm until 31 October (last entry 4pm). The palace closes from 1 November to 24 March; in winter the gardens and coffee shop open Thursday-Saturday 10am-3pm (5 November-20 March), closed 5 December-3 February.
