Loch Ness Alpacas
Feed, meet and trek with alpacas through the woods to a Loch Ness beach
Dores· Highland

About this place
A small alpaca herd on the south shore of Loch Ness at Dores, about 20 minutes from Inverness. Little ones aged 3 and up can join a 30-minute Meet & Greet to feed the alpacas and learn all about them – no walking involved, so it suits all ages and anyone with mobility needs. Children from 5 can join a 50-minute trek through the woods to the loch shore for photos, sharing an alpaca with a grown-up. They also run alpaca birthday parties with crafts, hot chocolate and an alpaca soft toy for the birthday child. All visits are by booking only, and treks go ahead in most weather, so bring waterproofs.
