Inveraray Jail

A restored Georgian and Victorian prison on the shores of Loch Fyne, where costumed guides play the warders and prisoners. Children can sit in the cells and try the airing yards — memorable, and not as grim as it sounds.

Open 10am-5pm (last entry 4pm). Check the website for winter opening days. Free parking; dogs welcome (not in the Escape Room, which is 8+). Seasonal hours may vary, so please check before you travel.
