Alexander 'Greek' Thomson's finest villa, in Cathcart on Glasgow's south side. Small, but the decorative schemes are extraordinary and there's a garden and burn-side walk.
Open Thursday-Sunday 10am-5pm (last entry 4pm) until 1 November; closed 2 November to 31 December. Lift access, dog-friendly café, baby changing and pushchair storage.
