Flanders Moss National Nature Reserve

One of the largest raised bogs in Europe, with a boardwalk trail and a viewing tower looking across to the Trossachs. Flat, short and unlike anywhere else nearby.

Firm, mostly smooth gravel and boardwalk trail with a viewing tower. Car park at the entrance; no toilets on site (nearest in Thornhill). Boardwalk can be slippery when wet.
